A Good Reminder

I recently came across this photo on Pinterest and instantly fell in love with the saying.

Such a simple and important reminder. I knew I needed to incorporate it into our home somewhere, so I decided to do a little editing to one of our wedding photos.

I downloaded some free fonts from dafont.com {Sidenote: I’m curious as to what other sources are out there for fonts or graphics..suggestions, please!} and played around with it in Keynote until I was happy with how it looked {Second sidenote: I really enjoy doing graphic design-y type stuff like this but I desperately need Illustrator or some other program to help with it..again, suggestions welcome!}. I uploaded it to ImageKind and voila! A custom little piece of art for our home.

I hung it in our stairway next to my DIY Subway art. I envision totally filling that wall up with photos/art. Pretty stoked about that!
